"Barreleye Fish" The Transparent Fish
A transperant fish as een newly discovered amongst the fish species which has been a dream for many marine biologists around the world.
Barreleye fish complete trunk is see-through. Seeing this fish is like looking through a glass ball because even the bones of this Californian Macropinna microstoma are composed of a transparent jelly-like structure.
The "barreleye" term also comes from its unique ability of being able to see 360 degrees, since most of its skin, bones and scales are clearly transparent.
The Scientists at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute have solved an over 50-year mystery behind the Barreleye fish, finding that the fish can rotate its eyes, but only after discovering that the front of its head is see through.
The see through Barreleye Fish (Macropinna microstoma) was first discovered in 1939, but the transparent nature of the fish wasn’t known. The fish had previously been caught in nets, but the see through part is destroyed when the fish dies. The eyes on the fish are unique, facing upwards, so it was thought that it couldn’t see in front of itself. The Monterey Bay team sent remotely operated vehicles to the ocean floor to study the fish, only to make the remarkable discovery.
The team managed to capture a live specimen, and over several hours observed the fish rotating its eyes. The see through portion of the Barreleye allows the fish to literally see through itself when looking for food at different angles above it.

"Portuguese Water Dog" - The First Dog
It is official announced that the White House will have a Portuguese water dog as the First Dog according to CNN’s Political Ticker report.
The Obamas are willing to get a rescued Portuguese water dog and they would get it at the end of April. It was a much-awaited announcement which came from Michelle Obama in an interview with People magazine.
The first lady told the magazine that the family will be getting a dog which is old enough, and a match for the family dynamic.
Obama said the presidential pooch will arrive after daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, return from spring holiday. The choice of a rescue dog will bring joy to animal rights groups who have been urging the Obamas to adopt a pet from a shelter.

Angie Harmon Is Back
This Angie Harmon the Law and Order star and her husband Jason Sehorn the former New York Giants defensive back made their public appearance at the Honorary Starter and Honorary Race Official for the Auto Club 500 on Sunday.
Angie Harmon has lost weight after having a baby. The couple has three daughters. Harmon said her two older girls love their baby sister. Harmon gave birth to Emery, her third daughter in December 2008.
“Right now, I’m literally eating every piece of meat that I see. I have a hamburger at lunch, and I make pot roast, anything with meat in it,” said Angie Harmon. About losing her weight she said "“I mean, genetically I’m a skinny girl so it’s not hard for me.”

Ashera Cat The Hybrid Cat
The Ashera cat is a hybrid cat breed which is offered by Lifestyle Pets for the pet owner. Randi Rhodes Preparing For Nova M
Randi Rhodes who is well know for her talk shows on radio is now missing or it seems to be the same for many of her listeners.
The moderate talk show host is currently on leave from her performance at Nova M radio. She has had some trouble in the past with a potty mouth and fighting with radio executives. Randi Rhodes has quit the radio “giant” Air America recently. There was a message which was left on the Nova M site by Anita Drobny:

You are all correct - I have not had the option to disclose what has been happening between Randi and Nova M…
You see, it’s in her contract that she has total control, but, after Wednesday night, I want you all to know that Nova M has done everything we can to get her back on the air.
All this is her choice; if she wants to tell you all what the issue is, then I hope she does, but I can’t according to her contract rules.
But I can tell you this I have wanted her back on the air. She’s an amazing talent and needs to be heard.

Scorpion - The Power Animal
One of the very interesting and a solitary creature are The Scorpion. Scorpions are violent and deadly creatures which have a life span of around twenty-five years.
They are out at night and wait until a suitable scene crosses their path, they do not hunt. They will trap their victim by injecting a deadly poison which kills or effectively stuns the innocent creature. The Scorpion’s stinger sits at the top of their many segmented tail.
These creatures have and ability to control the venom which is released from their stinger while they attack. If they are in danger, its victim will be poisoned several times. There are over fifteen-hundred species of Scorpion in the world, but only twenty-five are lethal.
Scorpions will survive for a year without food or water, this makes them the most enduring creatures on the planet. The mating ritual of Scorpions is very dangerous and unusual. They battle dance and sting one another in the process. The reproduction cycle takes as long as eighteen months for the birth to occur.
The Female Scorpions are also furious mothers and will ferociously protect their offspring’s from all the harm or threat of harm. She carries her children on her back after they are born, and will feed and protect them until they drop off her back when ready to hunt on their own.
One of the interesting characteristics of Scorpions is their six to twelve eyes. They have a central pair and several more eyes clustered around this set. Despite these extra eyes they can not see very well. They have sensory hairs on their under bellies which allow them to pick up vibrations and help them to find their way around in the dark. They are only able to distinguish light from dark and shadows.
One More unusual characteristic of the Scorpion is that they have a natural florescence and they will all glow under ultra-violet light. The scientists are still not exactly sure what causes the Scorpion’s body to do this.

Brussels Griffon The Toy Dog
A Brussels Griffon named Ch Cilleine Masquerade was said to be a favorite to win the Toy Group. It is a toy dog, which is intelligent, alert, and sturdy. It comes with a thickset, short body, and a smart carriage of set-up which will attract attention with it’s almost humanly expressions. They are with two distinct types of coat: rough or smooth.
They weigh about 8 to 12 pounds. They have a square, as a measured from point of shoulder to rearmost projection of upper thigh and from withers to ground body. They are well boned and have a thickset substance and are compact with good balance.
They are reddish brown with a little black at the whiskers and chin allowable. They can be Belge in color that is black and reddish brown mixed, usually with black mask and whiskers.
One more color in them is Black and Tan, black with uniform reddish brown markings, appearing under the chin, on the legs, above each eye, around the edges of the ears and around the vent; or complete Black. Any white hairs are a serious fault, except for “frost” on the muzzle of a mature dog, which is natural.
